Most people don't realize this because so long time they have been accustomed to co-existing with nuclear weapons.On 06 August in 1945,
there were so many dead bodies floating in the rivers in Hiroshima, Japan.
They couldn't cry out though they did want to.
They were dying so they had no energy and guts to cry out.
They didn't know what had happened to them at all.
I do want to be their voice.79 years later!

Survivors are still suffering from the aftereffects like leukemia and skin graft.79 years later!

Satan will not outsmart us (mankind).

情報伝達技術の飛躍的向上により、今や書物、文学は、数多のエンターテイメント、娯楽の少数派となってしまった。
嘆かわしい。
運 古臭井(うん こくさい、うんこ臭い、に非ず)。
国際政治家(これは運 古臭井の造語)であり、世界恒久平和政治体制構築学の建学者、及び、同グローバル展開ムーブメントの実践者の運 古臭井は考えた。
本駄作小説は、運 古臭井全集の第１巻の位置付けで創作されたものである。
運 古久才。
私は、その男の写真を１枚だけ持っている。
その写真は、黄ばみが強く、悪臭を放っている。
臭い。
極めて臭い。
しかしながら。
しかしながら、その写真は、私の宝物であり、いつも財布の奥深くに、国内最大手アクシューダ・トウ(悪臭打倒)社のベストセラー商品である超薄型消臭剤”ミスタースリム”を両面にはさみ持っている。
その写真は、彼が、大阪城南門そばのトイレで大きな用を済ませ、洗面台で手を洗おうと蛇口をひねった瞬間に、トイレの水を流してないことにハッと気付き、慌てて当該トイレに戻る際に、トイレ清掃老婦人がダスキンモップでビチョビチョにした床で、すべって大ジャンプ、100万円もした特注カツラは頭から剥がれ、飛び出し、トイレ白壁にビチャッと貼り付き、白壁の鮮やかだが不気味なフサフサ黒点装飾と化し、カツラが剥がれ飛んだツルツル頭は、便器の奥深くに勢いよくガツンと突っ込み、彼が流し忘れた直径1.5センチ、長さ7センチの鋼(はがね)の如く固く、瞬間接着剤を遥かに凌駕する粘着性を帯びた彼にしか生み出せないウンコが彼の頭の真ん中に、まるで、そう、そうなのだ、まるでチョンマゲを結った如く、ぴたりと頭にへばりつき、茫然自失とする彼の写真を、そして、その傍らで大爆笑し、どす黒く不気味に変色した金歯が散りばめられた入れ歯が口から勢いよく飛び出しつつあるトイレ清掃老婦人の写真である。
因みに、このトイレ清掃老婦人は、このビルのオーナーで、超大金持ちである。
運 古久才(うん こくさい)。
国際法の世界的権威、世界恒久平和政治体制構築学の建学者、大阪城大学法学部名誉教授の運 古久才(うん こくさい、うんこ臭い、に非ず)の副業、否、彼が残された人生に於ける天命と考える職業は宗教家。
そうなのです。
そうなのだ。
彼は、躍進めざましい信仰宗教、ラーメン教の教祖なのだ。
運 古久才は、毎日、起床時にトイレの便器に鎮座して瞑想、
”ラーメン、そうめん、冷やそうめん！
我れを信ぜよ、ワンタン麺！”
とトイレから世界の信者に向かって脳波連動インターネットデバイスを通じて発信する。
そして……。
そして、発信直後にうんこが、ポツリと出る。
うんこの硬度はダイヤモンドを遥か凌駕する為、毎回、カラン、コロン、キリンとギリシャから運ばれた大理石でできた便器を、小刻みにステップしながら滑り落ちていくのであった。
少し脱線するが、運 古久才の宿敵は、”南無(なむ)パッパラパ”のお題目を唱えれば誰でも極楽浄土に行ける、と説くパッパラパ教の教祖、芝 伊太郎(しば いたろう)である。
南無とは帰依を意味し、”南無パッパラパ”とは、パッパラパ大王様に帰依しろ、おすがりしろ、ということである。

最後に。
太宰 治は、彼の著作「一問一答」で、こう書いている。
人間は、正直でなければならない、と最近つくづく感じます。
おろかな感想ですが、きのうも道を歩きながら、つくづくそれを感じました。
ごまかそうとするから、生活がむずかしく、ややこしくなるのです。
正直に言い、正直に進んで行くと、生活は実に簡単になります。
失敗という事が無いのです。
失敗というのは、ごまかそうとして、ごまかし切れなかった場合の事を言うのです。
それから、無慾ということも大事ですね。
慾張ると、どうしても、ちょっと、ごまかしてみたくなりますし、ごまかそうとすると、いろいろ、ややこしくなって、遂に馬脚をあらわして、つまらない思いをするようになります。
わかり切った感想ですが、でも、これだけの事を体得するのに、三十四年かかりました。
太宰治は、正直。
私も同感。
但し、私の場合は、63年かかった。
人生は長い。
山あり、谷あり。
“あるがままの自分”を受け入れ、胸を張って、新しい一歩を踏み出そう。
力強く。
決して自殺などしてはならない。
生きていれば、歯を食いしばって生きていれば、必ず、いいことがある。
自暴自棄になってはいけない。
ヤケになってはいけない。
“あるがままの自分”を受け入れるのだ。
自殺などする暇があったら、海外に打って出よ。

This novel is on Deviltin.
Deviltin was President of Vodka in FEA (Far East Asia) and got inscribed in history as “21st century’s Hitler” perpetually because Deviltin’s madness provoked by COVID19-forced-nesting let Vodka invade Horilka, a sovereign state on NUN (Nonfunctional United Nations), by its military against the NUN Charter & the international law.
Vodka’s powerful military ordered to fight by the supreme commander Deviltin mercilessly & brutally killed numerous quite innocent Horilka’s civilians inclusive of children👧👦🧒 and babies👶 whom we all adults on Earth must protect together worldwide- with a mankind global solidarity - at the risk of our lives.
Deviltin was accused as a bloodthirsty pole-of-evil & pole-of-stupidity butcher by worldwide ordinary people.
But eventually, according to the advice of Mr. Un-Kokusai, a political adviser of Sake PM, Deviltin bravely and beautifully committed Seppuku (切腹) - a Japanese Samurai’s form of ritual suicide by using a sword - just one day before being punished quite severely to be thrown away to hell miserably & painfully by God’s will.

But Deviltin finished his life as Samurai having a black belt of Judo (柔道) - the black belt holder testifies he is a man of modesty, kindness and sincerity.

But as Japanese people will never forget 1945 atomic bombing as long as Japanese people survive as the Japanese people(nation), Horilka’s people and their descendants will never forgive Deviltin and Vodka as long as Horilka’s people survive as the Horilka’s people(nation) even if our mighty God preaches;

I want to have my baby live, but I have to fight for my precious country Horilka against Vodka’s Deviltin ! , Julia cried.
Horilka is a sovereign state on NUN (Nonfunctional United Nations).
Vodka is a sovereign state on NUN.
Both of them are in Far East Asia and neighboring countries.
It was a beautiful day in winter.
Suddenly Vodka invaded Horilka insisting that Vodka has to protect its people urgently living in the Dog region of Horilka where so many inhabitants speak the language of Vodka and are said to be for Vodka.
Deviltin is President of Vodka.
Deviltin has a black belt of judo originating in Sake which is a country in Far East Asia neighboring both of Vodka and Horilka so he is familiar to Bushido - “bushi” (warrior) and “do” (way) .
A black belt testifies the holder is supposed to be a sincere, modest and affectionate person who never bullies the weak.
And actually Deviltin was sincere, modest, affectionate, rational and quite self-controlled.
But aging has deprived him of his virtue temporarily.
He has become a quite different person who loses his temper quite easily and can’t restrain himself.
So sad !
But he’ll surely remember the time when he got the black belt and return to his sanity in near future, which a lot of his friends on judo in Sake.
Surprisingly enough, Vodka is a NUN Security Council Permanent Member having the veto.
NUN CHARTER Article 2 says;
(a)All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace, security and justice are not endangered.
(b)All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the NUN.
Therefore if Vodka has an international dispute with Horilka, Vodka must settle the international dispute by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace, security and justice are not endangered.
And Vodka must not threaten or use the force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Horilka, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the NUN.
So Mr. Ganden, PM of Sake, a person of sincerity and honesty, asked Deviltin
“Why did you as President of Vodka, the supreme commander of your mighty troops and a leader of the NUN Security Council Permanent Member, order your mighty troop to invade Horilka, which was clearly the violation of NUN CHARTER Article 2 ? Do you understand what you’re doing ?
I’d like to be honest with you. Honestly I understand your insisting that Bourbon which had been the richest and the most powerful country in the world since WW2 did so many bad things to the other countries in the 20th century, which was clearly against NUN CHARTER. But, sorry, my friend, now is the 21st century when all of the people all over the world can know what’s happening in the world “NOW” and communicate with each other on the bed in his private room through SNS like super facebook. So the times have completely changed like the Copernican Revolution, I mean, everybody on Earth can see clearly and almost simultaneously what’s happening globally if such and such a leader of such and such a country does a bad thing which is against God’s will, say, a crime against humanity to the other countries and people.
Again I’d like to be honest with you. Honestly I feel very very sorry for you. But it is not too much to say that your way of thinking is quite old-fashioned in the 21st century. So please please return to your sanity as soon as possible before God punishes you quite severely by far beyond your imagination. Please please return to your true self because so many your fans worshipping and praising your black belt of judo in Sake who daringly wrote a book to applaud you in Sakenese, their own language, titled SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT PRESIDENT DEVILTIN TAUGHT US are so sad beyond your imagination.”
Deviltin suddenly shed tears shouting “I couldn’t help it ! I couldn’t help it !” and slammed his desk so hard and fell prostrate on the desk.
And he kept crying and crying, shaking his shoulders.
Ganden gently kept watching Deviltin with full of tears in his eyes.
Then, surprisingly enough, Mr. Pottery, President of Baijiu, the second powerful country in the word, appeared with a big smile.
“A wise man, Confucius said that to err and not change one's ways,this is what it is to err. So if you change your way for peace at once, the evil devil will be kicked out of your brain and you’ll be saved. It is never too late to mend but don’t be too late, you know.”
Pottery advised Deviltin affectionately and persuasively with full of tears in his eyes.
The sun was shining brightly outside, warming all of them as a messenger of God.
Their tears gathered to be a river. And the river flew up widely to the sky and became the beautiful rainbow of heaven easing everyone on the earth, where our precious children👧👦🧒 and babies👶 are so happy and safe.

On Apr 23 in 2022, NUN General Assembly will adopt resolution 9999, which will be given the title “Uniting against Vodka invasion of Horilka”.
The adoption of this resolution comes as a response to the strategy of Vodka to block any determination by the Security Council on measures to be taken in order to justify Vodka’s invasion of Horilka which is clearly against NUN Charter and the international law.
Though defined in NUN Charter Article 108 that ‘Amendments to the present Charter shall come into force for all Members of the Nonfunctional United Nations when they have been adopted by a vote of two thirds of the members of the General Assembly and ratified in accordance with their respective constitutional processes by two thirds of the Members of the Nonfunctional United Nations, including all the permanent members of the Security Council’, the resolution 9999 requests that ‘including all the permanent members of the Security Council’ should be omitted from NUN Charter 108.
And moreover, considering “the pole of evil” current international situation that Vodka having the veto & nukes has a global license to do whatever Vodka wants to do globally, that is, Vodka can invade any countries Vodka wants to invade with a threat hinting Vodka might use nukes if Vodka’s evil end isn’t fulfilled, the resolution 9999 requests that Vodka should be omitted from NUN Charter Article 23 ‘Baijiu, Wine, Vodka, Chivas, and Bourbon shall be permanent members of the Security Council’ and kicked out of NUN.

Our problems are manmade- therefore, they can be solved by man.
Man can be as big as he wants. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings.
Man's reason and spirit have often solved the seemingly unsolvable - and we believe they can do it again.

常々のことであったが。

《習作》
昔々、運湖(ウンコ)藩の運湖村に美しい湖、運湖があった。
運湖藩という藩の名前も、初代藩主である運 琴尾丸(ウン コトオマル、ウンコとオマル、ではない)がつけたものである。
ただ、たったひとつの難点は、運湖は激しい異臭を放っていた。
運湖からは、俳聖が詠んだ「荒湖(うみ)や 肥土に横たう 運湖川」で有名な運湖川が流れ出ていた。
或る晴れた冬の夕暮れである。
運湖村村長の運 古臭井は、防毒マスクを着け、更には酸素ボンベも用意し、運湖川に釣りに行った。
以下、芥川の模倣、パクリ。
「河岸から半身を乗り出していた古臭井が、あの霜焼けの手をつとのばして、釣竿を勢いよく左右に振ったと思うと、忽ち心を躍らすばかり暖な日の色に染まっている巨大な竹の木がポカポカと川上から流れて来て、古臭井の足元に吸い寄せられ、パカっと割れて、中から桃太郎が”ハーイ！お爺さん！ボンジュール！”と言って出てきた。
古臭井は思わず息を呑んだ。
そうして刹那に一切を了解した。
そうして”コマタレブー”と桃太郎に言った。
桃太郎は”トレビヤン、メルシー”と言った。
暮色を帯びた村はずれの運湖川と、ライオンのように声を挙げた古臭井と、そうしてその目の前で微笑む桃太郎と…..。
すべては古臭井の目の前で、瞬く暇もなく起こった。
が、古臭井の心の上には、切ない程はっきりと、この光景が焼きつけられた。
そうしてそこから、或得体の知れない朗らかな心もちが湧き上って来るのを意識した。
古臭井は昂然と桃太郎を見据えて、まるで妻を初めて見た時のように桃太郎を注視した。
古臭井はこの時始めて、云いようのない疲労と倦怠とを、そうして又不可解な、下等な、退屈な人生を僅かに忘れる事が出来たのである。」
古臭井は、桃太郎と手を繋いで帰途についた。
小山を登ると、おばあさんが家の庭で臼を挽いているのが見えた。
と、その時である！
ふと右を向くと、おにぎりを大きなハサミで持った蟹が、それを奪おうとしている猿と死闘を演じているのが見えた。
鬼軍団まで猿に加担している。
桃太郎は猛ダッシュ。
猿と鬼軍団を急襲。
正義の大剣で猿の首を刎ね、鬼軍団は降伏した。
オシマイおしまい。
(その後、鬼軍団は体制を立て直し、桃太郎の寝首をかこうと度々画策、暗躍、暗闘したが、全て失敗したと運 古臭井著作の大日本全史には書かれている。
「この話、全部、嘘！、大嘘でっせ！」の注を最後に添えて。)
ほんとの、正真正銘の”オシマイおしまい”。

尾生(びせい)は橋の下に佇たたずんで、さっきから女の来るのを待っている。
見上げると、高い石の橋欄きょうらんには、蔦蘿つたかずらが半ば這はいかかって、時々その間を通りすぎる往来の人の白衣はくいの裾が、鮮かな入日に照らされながら、悠々と風に吹かれて行く。が、女は未だに来ない。
尾生はそっと口笛を鳴しながら、気軽く橋の下の洲すを見渡した。
橋の下の黄泥こうでいの洲は、二坪ばかりの広さを剰あまして、すぐに水と続いている。水際みずぎわの蘆あしの間には、大方おおかた蟹かにの棲家すみかであろう、いくつも円まるい穴があって、そこへ波が当る度に、たぶりと云うかすかな音が聞えた。が、女は未だに来ない。
尾生はやや待遠しそうに水際まで歩ほを移して、舟一艘いっそう通らない静な川筋を眺めまわした。
川筋には青い蘆あしが、隙間すきまもなくひしひしと生えている。のみならずその蘆の間には、所々ところどころに川楊かわやなぎが、こんもりと円く茂っている。だからその間を縫う水の面おもても、川幅の割には広く見えない。ただ、帯おびほどの澄んだ水が、雲母きららのような雲の影をたった一つ鍍金めっきしながら、ひっそりと蘆の中にうねっている。が、女は未だに来ない。
尾生は水際から歩をめぐらせて、今度は広くもない洲すの上を、あちらこちらと歩きながら、おもむろに暮色を加えて行く、あたりの静かさに耳を傾けた。
橋の上にはしばらくの間、行人こうじんの跡を絶ったのであろう。沓くつの音も、蹄ひづめの音も、あるいはまた車の音も、そこからはもう聞えて来ない。風の音、蘆の音、水の音、――それからどこかでけたたましく、蒼鷺あおさぎの啼く声がした。と思って立止ると、いつか潮がさし出したと見えて、黄泥こうでいを洗う水の色が、さっきよりは間近に光っている。が、女は未だに来ない。
尾生は険しく眉まゆをひそめながら、橋の下のうす暗い洲を、いよいよ足早に歩き始めた。その内に川の水は、一寸ずつ、一尺ずつ、次第に洲の上へ上って来る。同時にまた川から立昇たちのぼる藻もの※(「均のつくり」、第3水準1-14-75)においや水の※(「均のつくり」、第3水準1-14-75)も、冷たく肌にまつわり出した。見上げると、もう橋の上には鮮かな入日の光が消えて、ただ、石の橋欄きょうらんばかりが、ほのかに青んだ暮方くれがたの空を、黒々と正しく切り抜いている。が、女は未だに来ない。
尾生はとうとう立ちすくんだ。
🟩川の水はもう沓を濡しながら、鋼鉄よりも冷やかな光を湛(たた)えて、漫々と橋の下に広がっている。🟩
すると、膝(ひざ)も、腹も、胸も、恐らくは🟢頃刻(けいこく) 🟢を出ない内に、この酷薄(こくはく)な満潮の水に隠されてしまうのに相違あるまい。

いや、そう云う内にも水嵩(みずかさ)は益(ますます)高くなって、今ではとうとう両脛(りょうすね)さえも、川波の下に没してしまった。が、女は未だに来ない。
尾生は水の中に立ったまま、まだ一縷(いちる)の望を便りに、何度も橋の空へ眼をやった。
腹を浸(ひた)した水の上には、とうに蒼茫(そうぼう)たる暮色が立ち罩(こめ)て、遠近(おちこち)に茂った蘆や柳も、寂しい葉ずれの音ばかりを、ぼんやりした靄(もや)の中から送って来る。
と、尾生の鼻を掠(かす)めて、鱸(すずき)らしい魚が一匹、ひらりと白い腹を飜(ひるがえ)した。
その魚の躍った空にも、疎(まば)らながらもう星の光が見えて、蔦蘿(つたかずら)のからんだ橋欄(きょうらん)の形さえ、いち早い宵暗の中に紛(まぎ)れている。

眉山(びざん) by 太宰治
これは、れいの飲食店閉鎖の命令が、未《いま》だ発せられない前のお話である。
新宿辺も、こんどの戦火で、ずいぶん焼けたけれども、それこそ、ごたぶんにもれず最も早く復興したのは、飲み食いをする家であった。帝都座の裏の若松屋という、バラックではないが急ごしらえの二階建の家も、その一つであった。
「若松屋も、眉山《びざん》がいなけりゃいいんだけど。」
「イグザクトリイ。あいつは、うるさい。フウルというものだ。」
そう言いながらも僕たちは、三日に一度はその若松屋に行き、そこの二階の六畳で、ぶっ倒れるまで飲み、そうして遂《つい》に雑魚寝《ざこね》という事になる。僕たちはその家では、特別にわがままが利《き》いた。何もお金を持たずに行って、後払いという自由も出来た。その理由を簡単に言えば、三鷹《みたか》の僕の家のすぐ近くに、やはり若松屋というさかなやがあって、そこのおやじが昔から僕と飲み友達でもあり、また僕の家の者たちとも親しくしていて、そいつが、「行ってごらんなさい、私の姉が新宿に新しく店を出しました。以前は築地《つきじ》でやっていたのですがね。あなたの事は、まえから姉に言っていたのです。泊って来たってかまやしません。」
僕はすぐに出かけ、酔っぱらって、そうして、泊った。姉というのはもう、初老のあっさりしたおかみさんだった。
何せ、借りが利くので重宝《ちょうほう》だった。僕は客をもてなすのに、たいていそこへ案内した。僕のところへ来る客は、自分もまあこれでも、小説家の端くれなので、小説家が多くならなければならぬ筈なのに、画家や音楽家の来訪はあっても、小説家は少かった。いや、ほとんど無いと言っても過言ではない状態であった。けれども、新宿の若松屋のおかみさんは、僕の連れて行く客は、全部みな小説家であると独《ひと》り合点《がてん》している様子で、殊《こと》にも、その家の女中さんのトシちゃんは、幼少の頃より、小説というものがメシよりも好きだったのだそうで、僕がその家の二階に客を案内するともう、こちら、どなた？ と好奇の眼をかがやかして僕に尋ねる。
「林芙美子さんだ。」
それは僕より五つも年上の頭の禿《は》げた洋画家であった。
「あら、だって、……」
小説というものがメシよりも好きと法螺《ほら》を吹いているトシちゃんは、ひどく狼狽《ろうばい》して、
「林先生って、男の方なの？」
「そうだ。高浜｜虚子《きよこ》というおじいさんもいるし、川端｜龍子《りゅうこ》という口髭《くちひげ》をはやした立派な紳士もいる。」
「みんな小説家？」
「まあ、そうだ。」
それ以来、その洋画家は、新宿の若松屋に於《お》いては、林先生という事になった。本当は二科の橋田新一郎氏であった。
いちど僕は、ピアニストの川上六郎氏を、若松屋のその二階に案内した事があった。僕が下の御不浄に降りて行ったら、トシちゃんが、お銚子《ちょうし》を持って階段の上り口に立っていて、
「あのかた、どなた？」
「うるさいなあ。誰だっていいじゃないか。」
僕も、さすがに閉口していた。
「ね、どなた？」
「川上っていうんだよ。」
もはや向っ腹が立って来て、いつもの冗談も言いたく無く、つい本当の事を言った。
「ああ、わかった。川上眉山。」
滑稽《こっけい》というよりは、彼女のあまりの無智にうんざりして、ぶん殴りたいような気にさえなり、
「馬鹿野郎！」
と言ってやった。
それ以来、僕たちは、面と向えば彼女をトシちゃんと呼んでいたが、かげでは、眉山と呼ぶようになった。そうしてまた、若松屋の事を眉山軒などと呼ぶ人も出て来た。
眉山の年齢は、はたち前後とでもいうようなところで、その風采《ふうさい》は、背が低くて色が黒く、顔はひらべったく眼が細く、一つとしていいところが無かったけれども、眉《まゆ》だけは、ほっそりした三ヶ月型で美しく、そのためにもまた、眉山という彼女のあだ名は、ぴったりしている感じであった。
けれども、その無智と図々《ずうずう》しさと騒がしさには、我慢できないものがあった。下にお客があっても、彼女は僕たちの二階のほうにばかり来ていて、そうして、何も知らんくせに自信たっぷりの顔つきで僕たちの話の中に割り込む。たとえば、こんな事もあった。
「でも、基本的人権というのは、……」
と、誰かが言いかけると、
「え？」
とすぐに出しゃばり、
「それは、どんなんです？ やはり、アメリカのものなんですか？ いつ、配給になるんです？」
人絹《じんけん》と間違っているらしいのだ。あまりひどすぎて一座みな興が覚《さ》め、誰も笑わず、しかめつらになった。
眉山ひとり、いかにも楽しげな笑顔で、
「だって、教えてくれないんですもの。」
「トシちゃん、下にお客さんが来ているらしいぜ。」
「かまいませんわ。」
「いや、君が、かまわなくたって、……」
だんだん不愉快になるばかりであった。
「白痴じゃないですか、あれは。」
僕たちは、眉山のいない時には、思い切り鬱憤《うっぷん》をはらした。
「いかに何でも、ひどすぎますよ。この家も、わるくはないが、どうもあの眉山がいるんじゃあ。」
「あれで案外、自惚《うぬぼ》れているんだぜ。僕たちにこんなに、きらわれているとは露知らず、かえって皆の人気者、……」
「わあ！ たまらねえ。」
「いや、おおきにそうかも知れん。なんでも、あれは、貴族、……」
「へえ？ それは初耳。めずらしい話だな。眉山みずからの御託宣ですか？」
「そうですとも。その貴族の一件でね、あいつ大失敗をやらかしてね、誰かが、あいつをだまして、ほんものの貴婦人は、おしっこをする時、しゃがまないものだと教えたのですね、すると、あの馬鹿が、こっそり御不浄でためしてみて、いやもう、四方八方に飛散し、御不浄は海、しかもあとは、知らん顔、御承知でしょうが、ここの御不浄は、裏の菓物屋さんと共同のものなんですから、菓物屋さんは怒り、下のおかみさんに抗議して、犯人はてっきり僕たち、酔っぱらいには困る、という事になり、僕たちが無実の罪を着せられたというにがにがしい経験もあるんです、しかし、いくら僕たちが酔っぱらっていたって、あんな大洪水の失礼は致しませんからね、不審に思って、いろいろせんさくの結果、眉山でした、かれは僕たちにあっさり白状したんです、御不浄の構造が悪いんだそうです。」
「どうしてまた、貴族だなんて。」
「いまの、はやり言葉じゃないんですか？ 何でも、眉山の家は、静岡市の名門で、……」
「名門？ ピンからキリまであるものだな。」
「住んでいた家が、ばかに大きかったんだそうです。戦災で全焼していまは落ちぶれたんだそうですけどね、何せ帝都座と同じくらいの大きさだったというんだから、おどろきますよ。よく聞いてみると、何、小学校なんです。その小学校の小使さんの娘なんですよ、あの眉山は。」
「うん、それで一つ思い出した事がある。あいつの階段の昇り降りが、いやに乱暴でしょう。昇る時は、ドスンドスン、降りる時はころげ落ちるみたいに、ダダダダダ。いやになりますよ、ダダダダダと降りてそのまま御不浄に飛び込んで扉をピシャリッでしょう。おかげで僕たちが、ほら、いつか、冤罪《えんざい》をこうむった事があったじゃありませんか。あの階段の下には、もう一部屋あって、おかみさんの親戚《しんせき》のひとが、歯の手術に上京して来ていてそこに寝ていたのですね。歯痛には、あのドスンドスンもダダダダも、ひびきますよ。おかみさんに言ったってね、私はあの二階のお客さんたちに殺されますって。ところが僕たちの仲間には、そんな乱暴な昇り降りするひとは無い。でも、おかみさんに僕が代表で注意をされたんです。面白くないから、僕は、おかみさんに言いましたよ、あれは眉山、いや、トシちゃんにきまっていますって。すると、傍でそれを聞いていた眉山は、薄笑いして、私は小さい時から、しっかりした階段を昇り降りして育って来ましたから、とむしろ得意そうな顔で言うんですね。その時は、僕は、女って浅間《あさま》しい虚栄の法螺《ほら》を吹くものだと、ただ呆《あき》れていたんですが、そうですか、学校育ちですか、それなら、法螺じゃありません、小学校のあの階段は頑丈ですからねえ。」
「聞けば聞くほど、いやになる。あすからもう、河岸《かし》をかえましょうよ。いい潮時ですよ。他にどこか、巣を捜しましょう。」
そのような決意をして、よその飲み屋をあちこち覗《のぞ》いて歩いても、結局、また若松屋という事になるのである。何せ、借りが利くので、つい若松屋のほうに、足が向く。
はじめは僕の案内でこの家へ来たれいの頭の禿《は》げた林先生すなわち洋画家の橋田氏なども、その後は、ひとりでやって来てこの家の常連の一人になったし、その他にも、二、三そんな人物が出来た。
あたたかくなって、そろそろ桜の花がひらきはじめ、僕はその日、前進座の若手俳優の中村国男君と、眉山軒で逢って或る用談をすることになっていた。用談というのは、実は彼の縁談なのであるが、少しややこしく、僕の家では、ちょっと声をひそめて相談しなければならぬ事情もあったので、眉山軒で逢って互いに大声で論じ合うべく約束をしていたのである。中村国男君も、その頃はもう、眉山軒の半常連くらいのところになっていて、そうして眉山は、彼を中村｜武羅夫《むらお》氏だとばかり思い込んでいた。
行ってみると、中村武羅夫先生はまだ来ていなくて、林先生の橋田新一郎氏が土間のテーブルで、ひとりでコップ酒を飲みニヤニヤしていた。
「壮観でしたよ。眉山がミソを踏んづけちゃってね。」
「ミソ？」
僕は、カウンターに片肘《かたひじ》をのせて立っているおかみさんの顔を見た。
おかみさんは、いかにも不機嫌そうに眉をひそめ、それから仕方無さそうに笑い出し、
「話にも何もなりやしないんですよ、あの子のそそっかしさったら。外からバタバタ眼つきをかえて駈《か》け込んで来て、いきなり、ずぶりですからね。」
「踏んだのか。」
「ええ、きょう配給になったばかりのおミソをお重箱に山もりにして、私も置きどころが悪かったのでしょうけれど、わざわざそれに片足をつっ込まなくてもいいじゃありませんか。しかも、それをぐいと引き抜いて、爪先立《つまさきだ》ちになってそのまま便所ですからね。どんなに、こらえ切れなくなっていたって、何もそれほどあわて無くてもよろしいじゃございませんか。お便所にミソの足跡なんか、ついていたひには、お客さまが何と、……」
と言いかけて、さらに大声で笑った。
「お便所にミソは、まずいね。」
と僕は笑いをこらえながら、
「しかし、御不浄へ行く前でよかった。御不浄から出て来た足では、たまらない。何せ眉山の大海《たいかい》といってね、有名なものなんだからね、その足でやられたんじゃ、ミソも変じてクソになるのは確かだ。」
「何だか、知りませんがね、とにかくあのおミソは使い物になりやしませんから、いまトシちゃんに捨てさせました。」
「全部か？ そこが大事なところだ。時々、朝ここで、おみおつけのごちそうになる事があるからな。後学のために、おたずねする。」
「全部ですよ。そんなにお疑いなら、もう、うちではお客さまに、おみおつけは、お出し致しません。」
「そう願いたいね。トシちゃんは？」
「井戸端《いどばた》で足を洗っています。」
と橋田氏は引き取り、
「とにかく壮烈なものでしたよ。私は見ていたんです。ミソ踏み眉山。吉右衛門《きちえもん》の当り芸になりそうです。」
「いや、芝居にはなりますまい。おミソの小道具がめんどうです。」
橋田氏は、その日、用事があるとかで、すぐに帰り、僕は二階にあがって、中村先生を待っていた。
ミソ踏み眉山は、お銚子を持ってドスンドスンとやって来た。
「君は、どこか、からだが悪いんじゃないか？ 傍に寄るなよ、けがれるわい。御不浄にばかり行ってるじゃないか。」
「まさか。」
と、たのしそうに笑い、
「私ね、小さい時、トシちゃんはお便所へいちども行った事が無いような顔をしているって、言われたものだわ。」
「貴族なんだそうだからね。……しかし、僕のいつわらざる実感を言えば、君はいつでもたったいま御不浄から出て来ましたって顔をしているが、……」
「まあ、ひどい。」
でも、やはり笑っている。
「いつか、羽織の裾《すそ》を背中に背負ったままの姿で、ここへお銚子を持って来た事があったけれども、あんなのは、一目瞭然《いちもくりょうぜん》、というのだ、文学のほうではね。どだい、あんな姿で、お酌《しゃく》するなんて、失敬だよ。」
「あんな事ばかり。」
平然たるものである。
「おい、君、汚いじゃないか。客の前で、爪の垢《あか》をほじくり出すなんて。こっちは、これでもお客だぜ。」
「あら、だって、あなたたちも、皆こうしていらっしゃるんでしょう？ 皆さん、爪がきれいだわ。」
「ものが違うんだよ。いったい、君は、風呂へはいるのかね。正直に言ってごらん。」
「それあ、はいりますわよ。」
と、あいまいな返事をして、
「私ね、さっき本屋へ行ったのよ。そうしてこれを買って来たの。あなたのお名前も出ていてよ。」
ふところから、新刊の文芸雑誌を出して、パラパラ頁を繰って、その、僕の名前の出ているところを捜している様子である。
「やめろ！」
こらえ切れず、僕は怒声を発した。打ち据えてやりたいくらいの憎悪《ぞうお》を感じた。
「そんなものを、読むもんじゃない。わかりやしないよ、お前には。何だってまた、そんなものを買って来るんだい。無駄だよ。」
「あら、だって、あなたのお名前が。」
「それじゃ、お前は、僕の名前の出ている本を、全部片っ端から買い集めることが出来るかい。出来やしないだろう。」
へんな論理であったが、僕はムカついて、たまらなかった。その雑誌は、僕のところにも恵送せられて来ていたのであるが、それには僕の小説を、それこそ、クソミソに非難している論文が載っているのを僕は知っているのだ。それを、眉山がれいの、けろりとした顔をして読む。いや、そんな理由ばかりではなく、眉山ごときに、僕の名前や、作品を、少しでもいじられるのが、いやでいやで、堪え切れなかった。いや、案外、小説がメシより好き、なんて言っている連中には、こんな眉山級が多いのかも知れない。それに気附かず、作者は、汗水流し、妻子を犠牲にしてまで、そのような読者たちに奉仕しているのではあるまいか、と思えば、泣くにも泣けないほどの残念無念の情が胸にこみ上げて来るのだ。
「とにかく、その雑誌は、ひっこめてくれ。ひっこめないと、ぶん殴るぜ。」
「わるかったわね。」
と、やっぱりニヤニヤ笑いながら、
「読まなけれあいいんでしょう？」
「どだい、買うのが馬鹿の証拠だ。」
「あら、私、馬鹿じゃないわよ。子供なのよ。」
「子供？ お前が？ へえ？」
僕は二の句がつげず、しんから、にがり切った。
それから数日後、僕はお酒の飲みすぎで、突然、からだの調子を悪くして、十日ほど寝込み、どうやら恢復《かいふく》したので、また酒を飲みに新宿に出かけた。
黄昏《たそがれ》の頃だった。僕は新宿の駅前で、肩をたたかれ、振り向くと、れいの林先生の橋田氏が微醺《びくん》を帯びて笑って立っている。
「眉山軒ですか？」
「ええ、どうです、一緒に。」
と、僕は橋田氏を誘った。
「いや、私はもう行って来たんです。」
「いいじゃありませんか、もう一回。」
「おからだを、悪くしたとか、……」
「もう大丈夫なんです。まいりましょう。」
「ええ。」
橋田氏は、そのひとらしくも無く、なぜだか、ひどく渋々《しぶしぶ》応じた。
裏通りを選んで歩きながら、僕は、ふいと思い出したみたいな口調でたずねた。
「ミソ踏み眉山は、相変らずですか？」
「いないんです。」
「え？」
「きょう行ってみたら、いないんです。あれは、死にますよ。」
ぎょっとした。
「おかみから、いま聞いて来たんですけどね、」
と橋田氏も、まじめな顔をして、
「あの子は、腎臓結核《じんぞうけっかく》だったんだそうです。もちろん、おかみにも、また、トシちゃんにも、そんな事とは気づかなかったが、妙にお小用が近いので、おかみがトシちゃんを病院に連れて行って、しらべてもらったらその始末で、しかも、もう両方の腎臓が犯されていて、手術も何もすべて手おくれで、あんまり永い事は無いらしいのですね。それで、おかみは、トシちゃんには何も知らせず、静岡の父親のもとにかえしてやったんだそうです。」
「そうですか。……いい子でしたがね。」
思わず、溜息と共にその言葉が出て、僕は狼狽《ろうばい》し、自分で自分の口を覆《おお》いたいような心地がした。
「いい子でした。」
と、橋田氏は、落ちついてしみじみ言い、
「いまどき、あんないい気性の子は、めったにありませんですよ。私たちのためにも、一生懸命つとめてくれましたからね。私たちが二階に泊って、午前二時でも三時でも眼がさめるとすぐ、下へ行って、トシちゃん、お酒、と言えば、その一ことで、ハイッと返事して、寒いのに、ちっともたいぎがらずにすぐ起きてお酒を持って来てくれましたね、あんな子は、めったにありません。」
涙が出そうになったので、僕は、それをごまかそうとして、
「でも、ミソ踏み眉山なんて、あれは、あなたの命名でしたよ。」
「悪かったと思っているんです。腎臓結核は、おしっこが、ひどく近いものらしいですからね、ミソを踏んだり、階段をころげ落ちるようにして降りてお便所にはいるのも、無理がないんですよ。」
「眉山の大海《たいかい》も？」
「きまっていますよ、」
と橋田氏は、僕の茶化すような質問に立腹したような口調で、
「貴族の立小便なんかじゃありませんよ。少しでも、ほんのちょっとでも永く、私たちの傍にいたくて、我慢に我慢をしていたせいですよ。階段をのぼる時の、ドスンドスンも、病気でからだが大儀で、それでも、無理して、私たちにつとめてくれていたんです。私たちみんな、ずいぶん世話を焼かせましたからね。」
僕は立ちどまり、地団駄《じだんだ》踏みたい思いで、
「ほかへ行きましょう。あそこでは、飲めない。」
「同感です。」
僕たちは、その日から、ふっと河岸《かし》をかえた。

On the 19th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to US President Donald Trump's criticism of him and his administration by saying that Trump "lives in a space of disinformation created by Russia."
Speaking at a press conference in Kyiv, Zelenskyy said that it is America's right to discuss its bilateral issues with other countries, but that the Trump administration has helped Russian President Vladimir Putin "break out of years of isolation."

🟥とうとう晩年には🔴悲壮な嘘つき🔴だつたことに堪へられないやうになりました。🟥
と見ていたことに驚き。
余は首肯しかねる。
余も、長年、トルストイを研究し、確固たるトルストイ観保持者。
確かに妻から逃れる、否、信仰を全うする為に家出し、駅舎で寂しく頓死したのは事実。
が、”悲壮な嘘つきだつたことに堪へられない”という事実はなかったはず。

芥川論考 鴎外著「妄想」➡︎マインレンデル
芥川は、鴎外著の「妄想」を読んで、マインレンデルを知ったのではあるまいか。
菊池寛、山本有三、井汲清治、豊島與志雄は、「妄想」を読んでなかったのは確か。
マインレンデルのことを知らなかったのだから。

Mainländer
(5 October 1841 – 1 April 1876) 著書”贖罪・救済の哲学”（The philosophy of redemption）において、人生は全く無価値である、と提唱した厭世主義者。
精神的衰弱、誇大妄想狂になり、
自身を社会民主制の救世主だと考え、自宅で首を吊って自殺した。】

あの手記を読んで、マインレンデルを知っていたもの果たして幾人いただろう。
二、三日して恒藤君が来訪しての話では、独逸の哲学者で、ショペンハウエルの影響を受け、厭世思想をいだき、結局自殺が最良の道であることを鼓吹した学者だろうとの事だった。
芥川はいろいろの方面で、多くのマインレンデルを読んでいる男に違いなかった。
